# Send a test event to a webhook endpoint

> Enqueues a real, signed `webhook.test` delivery to this one endpoint through the production queue, so it exercises signing, SSRF validation, and retries, and appears in delivery history like any other event. The endpoint's `events` allowlist is deliberately bypassed — a test must reach the endpoint being tested even when its filter would exclude everything — so `webhook.test` is not a valid allowlist value and must be handled or ignored explicitly in your handler. Disabled endpoints are refused.
